Cardboard Segregation: A Crucial Step Towards Sustainability
07 October 2024
Cardboard segregation is the process of separating cardboard from other waste materials, resulting in higher recycling rates.
This sustainable practice aims to reduce landfill, conserve energy, and preserve our natural, raw materials.
Instant Waste Management contributes to a greener future by segregating your cardboard waste.
What are the steps we follow?
- Cardboard waste is collected by our truck drivers and transported back to our facility.
- Cardboard is separated in our state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility (MRF), ensuring no other waste materials are evident.
- Separated cardboard is then moved to our cardboard bailing facility, where it is bailed and packaged.
What type of cardboard waste do we accept and do not accept?
- We accept clean/dry cardboard only.
- No contamination by organic material.
How can you contribute?
- Order a cardboard recycling bin from us today to help contribute to a more sustainable future.
- Be mindful of contaminates when recycling, such as greasy materials.
