Grand Opening of Material Recovery Facility

Over one hundred key industry & government stakeholders attended the grand opening of the new “state of the art” Material Recovery Facility in Bayswater, the Hon. Bill Marmion MLA – WA Minister for the Environment; Water formally opened the plant & a plaque was unveiled to commemorate the occasion. The Chairman of the WA Office of the Waste Authority & the private owners of the plant also spoke at length about the ground breaking achievements that Instant Waste Management and Resource Recovery Solutions provided Western Australia. The Minister referenced the governments recycling targets of 2015 & 2020.

The event was acknowledged in the WA Business News, Western Australian Newspaper and many other trade & industry related publications. Highlighting the 200,000 tonnes p.a. processed in a “single bin” recycling system which has been designed to suit the Western Australian construction & demolition industry’s waste. The residential housing industry no longer needs to sort and source separate waste in different coloured bins on site, Our new system will save builders and their trades time and space on their projects and provide environmental, social and economic benefits to the state & industry.
